About job:


This role involves hands-on training in the manufacturing and assembly of automotive electronic components. The trainee will learn to operate machinery, adhere to standard procedures, and maintain high-quality output, contributing to the production of essential automotive parts.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Operate machines and equipment on the production line, assembling automotive parts such as speedometers and sensors.
  • Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards, identifying and reporting any defects or irregularities.
  • Follow daily production plans and targets, maintaining 5S and Kaizen standards for cleanliness and continuous improvement.
  • Assist in loading/unloading raw materials and finished goods, supporting machine setup and basic maintenance.
  • Record production data, including output counts and defects, and submit daily reports to team leaders or supervisors.
  • Participate in hands-on training on production processes, safety, and quality awareness sessions.
  • Gain exposure to Japanese manufacturing systems like 5S, TPM, and Lean Production.

Qualifications / Requirements:


  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related field is required.
  • Candidates with a B.Sc (Pass or Fail) are also eligible.
  • Must be between 18-25 years of age.
  • Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) carefully.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new manufacturing processes.

Preferred Skills / Attributes:


  • Familiarity with Japanese manufacturing systems (5S, TPM, Lean Production).
  • Basic understanding of machine operation and maintenance.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively.
  • Strong communication and reporting skills.
  • Adaptability to shift work (A / B / General shifts).
