Job Description
Project descriptionWe're seeking a strong and creative DevOps bamboo (Atlassian Suite) eager to solve challenging problems of scale and work on cutting edge technologies. In this project, you will have the opportunity to write code that will impact thousands of users every month. You'll implement your critical thinking and technical skills to develop cutting edge software, and you'll have the opportunity to interact with teams across disciplines.

In this new adventure, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with a world-class team in the field of Insurance by building a holistic solution, interacting with multidisciplinary teams. This project is to upgrade and modernise a Visual Basic/SQL DB application and 2 Lotus Notes applications (all are 25 year old applications and involves migration of 50+ million records of data with zero data loss out of LN) into modern digital cloud and hybrid microservices based applications running on native Kubernetes container platform.
Drive the migration of 40+ enterprise applications to the AWS Public Cloud.
Ansible and GitHub Actions and strong experience with AWS
Design, implement, and manage end-to-end CI/CD pipelines for all application deployments using Atlassian's DevOps toolchain (primarily Bamboo).
Ensure deployments are 100% automated, secure, and compliant with German business unit regulations.
Execute application deployments via Bamboo pipelines, avoiding Azure DevOps due to compliance restrictions.
Support deployments across multiple AWS services, including
EC2 instances
ROSA (Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS)
Must have
5+ Yrs
Ansible and GitHub Actions and strong experience with AWS
Experience on Azure / AWS Services
CI/CD Expertise
Strong hands-on experience with Bamboo for continuous integration and deployment.
Experience integrating GitHub Actions for CI workflows, testing, and validation jobs.
Knowledge of designing secure and modular pipelines for microservices-based architectures.
Configuration Management
Solid experience with Ansible for provisioning, configuration, and post-deployment automation.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Practical expertise with Terraform to manage infrastructure in AWS.
Cloud & Containers
Proficient in AWS services
especially EC2, IAM, VPC, S3, and EBS.
Experience deploying and managing containers in ROSA/OpenShift or any Kubernetes environment.
Scripting & Automation
Strong scripting skills using Shell, Python, or Groovy for pipeline extensions or automation tasks. Nice to have
