Role: PMS Deployment Lead

Work Timings: ASPAC Region (Must be able to work Hong Kong business hours 3 hrs)
About the Project:
A global hospitality group is undertaking an initiative to migrate over 1300+ hotels from Opera V5 to Opera Cloud. The PMS Deployment Lead will play a key role in this transition, supporting hotel teams through configuration, training, and deployment phases.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead deployment activities for multiple hotel properties simultaneously.
Host project kick-off sessions, training webinars, and deployment meetings with hotel teams.
Collect, validate, and update hotel configuration data in line with company standards.
Develop and maintain training materials, including slide decks, notes, and instructional videos.
Collaborate with global and regional teams, as well as PMS vendors, to ensure smooth migration.
Manage shared email inbox and respond to queries from hotel and vendor teams.
Support Opera Cloud configuration and ensure successful transition from Opera V5.
Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and vendors to drive implementation success.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in Hotel Operations (Front Office, Reservations, or related rooms division).
5+ years of supervisory experience in hospitality operations.
Strong expertise in Oracle Opera systems (Opera Cloud & Opera V5) configuration, training, and operations.
Prior experience with leading hospitality chains or familiarity with global hotel business processes preferred.
Experience with RESERVE CRS, HotSOS, Medallia Concierge, Sertifi, and Credit Card processing systems.
Excellent communication and presentation skills comfortable leading virtual sessions with hotel teams.
Proven ability to multitask, manage global stakeholders, and meet tight deadlines.
Experience in preparing and delivering effective training programs and materials.
Additional Details:
100% Remote (occasional travel to HQ possible, but not currently planned).
Must be able to work flexible hours to support international rollouts (overnight calls may be required).
Candidates from ASPAC region preferred; alignment with Hong Kong / London / Shanghai time zones is essential.
