Job Description: As a ServiceNow Architect at Siemens Energy, you will be responsible for designing and leading the implementation/enhancement of ITSM practices using ServiceNow. Your role will involve collaborating with IT Leadership, multi-functional teams, and assigned project managers to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain deep, comprehensive knowledge of ServiceNow's capabilities and constraints. - Understand requirements from multiple customers and advise on the design and strategy of ServiceNow Portal by providing technical inputs. - Minimize platform customization and utilize Out of the box features to meet user requirements. - Provide governance to the development team (internal/external) to ensure requirements are implemented within the committed timeframe and desired quality. - Explore new platform features with each release and strive for improvements in the existing set-up. - Coordinate the management of complex issues that may arise during Portal service delivery. - Define technical solutions aligned with client business problems at an architectural and design level. - Advise on integration of ServiceNow with other applications and toolsets, providing strategic guidance to teams and project managers. Qualifications Required: - Detailed knowledge of ServiceNow at an architectural level, with knowledge of other ITSM tools being an advantage. - 7-9 years of experience post Masters or Bachelors degree in IT/Computer Science in a similar role. - Hands-on experience in ServiceNow integration with different systems, architecture understanding, and technical support documentation skills. - Understanding of ServiceNow coding and design standards. - ServiceNow Certifications (Administrator and Implementation Specialist) preferred. - Knowledge of CMDB design principles with a focus on CSDM model. - Familiarity with Agile Service Management (release and deployment strategies). - Strong interpersonal communication and consultation skills with the ability to present ideas in user-friendly language. - Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative global environment.
