Job Description
- As a Functional and Automation Test Engineer with expertise in Finacle or Flexcube product knowledge, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Must possess hands-on knowledge in Finacle or Flexcube product knowledge - Conduct system testing including test planning, test design, and test execution to ensure end-to-end functionality - Work directly on web and desktop applications - Evaluate and review test cases and test design, ensuring alignment with project requirements - Collaborate with different teams for integration testing - Provide timely updates on risk assessments related to project schedules - Work in a fast-paced Agile Scrum or waterfall development environment Qualifications and Skills required for this role include: - 3-6 years of experience in manual and automation testing - Expertise in desktop and web-based application testing - Strong knowledge of integration testing, analysis, and test case creation - Proficiency in SQL queries - Sound knowledge in Selenium automation with Java - Experience in API testing - Excellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred qualifications include prior experience in the automobile industry, working knowledge of the software testing lifecycle, experience with Agile or Waterfall models, familiarity with JIRA and Kanban boards, and the ability to write and maintain the Master Test Plan (Test Strategy) for projects. In addition, you will be responsible for planning, leading, following up, and coaching assigned test resources for projects while adhering to budget and milestone commitments. You will also address blocking issues, propose workarounds to expedite test execution, write audit reports with risk assessments, validate test scripts produced by Application Testers, and ensure complete end-to-end test coverage. This is a full-time, permanent position with a rotational shift schedule and a remote work location.
