Job Description

Designation: Internal Auditor
Job Location: Uganda, East Africa
Experience: Minimum experience of 4 to 5 Years
Education: B.Com. / MBA in Finance / M.Com.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct end-to-end internal audits of processes, systems, and departments across the manufacturing setup.
- Review and evaluate the effectiveness of internal control systems, compliance procedures, and risk management frameworks.
- Identify gaps, risks, and areas for process improvement, and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to statutory laws, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Conduct financial, operational, and compliance audits in line with audit plans.
- Prepare detailed audit reports with findings and recommendations for management.
- Follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations and corrective actions.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in Internal Audit, preferably in a manufacturing company.
- Strong knowledge of audit methodologies, risk management practices, and internal control frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
Contract Period: 2 Years
