Job Description

Job Title: Medical Coder - ED Facility and E&M (IP & OP)

Preferred candidate profile:

Location: Noida (On-site)
Department: Medical Coding (HIM)
Employment Type: Full-Time

Eligibility Criteria:

Experience: Minimum 2 years in ED Facility and E&M coding (IP & OP).
Certification: CPC, COC, or CCS (Certified Coders only).
Skills: Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.

Role & responsibilities:

Review and code ED, inpatient, and outpatient medical records using ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS.
Assign accurate codes for diagnoses, procedures, and E&M services.
Ensure compliance with CMS, payer-specific, and internal coding guidelines.
Collaborate with clinical teams to resolve documentation issues.
Participate in audits and implement feedback for coding accuracy.
Support denial management and appeals processes.
Maintain coding accuracy and productivity standards.
