Job Description

Education : Bachelors/masters degree in information technology, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems (or equivalent)
Job Summary:
- We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Engineer (Quality) with 68 years of experience in both manual and automated testing
- The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Java or Python, Selenium, Cucumber, REST API testing, AI and cloud-based application testing, along with a solid understanding of Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for web applications, APIs (REST/SOAP), and databases.
- Validate application codebases for new features and regression testing using automation frameworks.
- Perform performance testing and ensure scalability and reliability of cloud-based applications.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries to validate large and complex datasets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins, and Maven.
- Participate in Agile/SAFe ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Communicate effectively with technical teams and stakeholders to report bugs, suggest improvements, and ensure alignment on quality goals.
- Bachelors/masters degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- 6-8 years of experience in software testing (manual and automation).
- Proficiency in Java or Python, Selenium, Cucumber, and REST API testing.
- Strong SQL skills with the ability to write and debug complex queries.
- Experience with performance testing tools and cloud-based application testing.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and Maven.
- Hands-on experience in Agile/SAFe environments.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to AI/ML-based application testing.
- Experience with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
- Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
