Job Description
We are looking for an accomplished Solution Architect with 14+ years of experience in designing and delivering cloud-native, scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Java (Spring Boot) and Node.js ecosystems, along
with a high-level architectural understanding of frontend frameworks (Angular/React). You will define the technology vision, ensure architectural consistency, and drive the adoption of
best practices for performance, scalability, and maintainability across platforms. This role also demands a strong ability to work with cloud-agnostic architectures, event-driven systems, and AI-assisted engineering tools to improve team productivity.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Architecture
- Define and own end-to-end solution architecture for large, distributed, high-performance systems.
- Design and guide implementation of cloud-native microservices using Java/Spring Boot and Node.js (Express/NestJS).
- Architect event-driven solutions with message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Ensure system scalability, fault tolerance, and observability through best design practices.
- Collaborate with frontend teams and guide architecture-level integration and componentization in Angular or React.
Cloud & Infrastructure
- Architect cloud-agnostic solutions deployable across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Demonstrate strong hands-on experience in AWS (Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, IAM, etc.).
- Possess working-level knowledge of DevOps concepts CI/CD, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
Low-Code/No-Code & Workflow Automation
- Drive solution delivery using Appsmith, Mendix, or equivalent LCNC tools.
- Integrate and automate workflows with n8n, Camunda, or similar workflow engines.
- Establish best practices for scalability, maintainability, and governance in LCNC solutions.
AI-Assisted Development (Must Have)
- Leverage AI-assisted code tools such as GitHub Copilot, AWS Code Whisperer, or similar tools to boost team productivity, code quality, and delivery efficiency.
- Drive adoption of AI-based development accelerators across teams, ensuring optimal usage patterns and compliance.
Data & Integration Architecture
- Design robust data and integration architectures leveraging PostgreSQL and Oracle databases.
- Define data strategies including partitioning, replication, and performance tuning.
- Ensure consistency, transaction integrity, and secure data exchange across microservices.
AI/ML (Good to Have)
- Exposure to AI/ML pipelines and building forecasting or predictive systems using AWS services (SageMaker, Forecast, Comprehend, etc.).
- Understanding of data preparation, training, and inference workflows in a cloud environment.
Governance & Best Practices
- Define and enforce architecture principles, design patterns, and code quality frameworks.
- Lead design reviews, proof-of-concepts, and architecture validations.
- Advocate for Domain-Driven Design (DDD), 12-Factor App principles, and API-first architecture.
- Ensure solutions meet enterprise standards for security, compliance, and performance.
Required Skills & Expertise
Core Technical Skills
- Languages/Frameworks: Java (Spring Boot), Node.js (Express/NestJS)
- Frontend (Architectural View): Angular, React
- Architecture: Microservices, Event-driven, Cloud-native, Serverless
- Databases: PostgreSQL, Oracle
- Cloud: Strong AWS expertise; understanding of Azure/GCP
- DevOps (Basic): CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes (conceptual level)
- Low-Code Platforms: Appsmith or Mendix etc
- Workflow Engines: n8n or Camunda etc
- AI-Assisted Tools (Mandatory): GitHub Copilot or equivalent
Additional Advantage
- Exposure to AI/ML pipelines or forecasting systems.
- Experience in the utility or energy domain is a plus.
- Familiarity with enterprise security, observability, and governance frameworks.
