Job Description
Job Title: Kinaxis RapidResponse Consultant
Experience: 8+ Years
Location: Remote
Job Type: Fulltime /Contract
Project Context:
This role supports a strategic transformation initiative to redesign and deploy advanced planning capabilities across global markets. Contractors will work within the Planning workstream, focusing on data validation, functional and user acceptance testing (UAT), deployment, and post-go-live stabilization.
Role Summary:
The consultants will support the implementation of Planning and S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) processes across the APAC markets, collaborating with the Aurora Planning project team, internal DTS stakeholders, and IT teams to ensure successful execution of project deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
Planning & Design
- Support the design, configuration, and validation of planning processes and tools.
- Assist with data validation, including inbound/outbound data and statistical forecasting models.
Testing & UAT
- Participate in Pre-UAT functional testing and UAT execution.
- Develop and support test cases based on real business scenarios.
- Prepare and validate test data and ensure environment readiness.
- Support defect resolution and retesting, coordinating with DTS and business teams.
- Facilitate stakeholder walkthroughs and sign-off sessions.
Deployment & Hypercare
- Support cutover and post-go-live stabilization activities.
- Monitor system performance and data accuracy.
- Provide hands-on user support and issue triage during hypercare.
- Conduct training refreshers and maintain change management documentation.
- Liaise with regional teams to ensure consistent process execution.
Required Skills & Experience:
Experience
- 2-3 years of experience with Kinaxis RapidResponse or similar advanced planning tools.
- Strong background in Demand and/or Supply Planning, S&OP, forecasting, or supply chain analytics.
- Prior involvement in UAT, including test case development, defect tracking, and stakeholder walkthroughs.
- Experience with SAP/APO preferred (especially for supply planning roles).
- Exposure to Azure DevOps and Excel for testing and documentation (training can be provided).
