Job Description

Role & responsibilities
- Design and develop RESTful APIs using Spring Boot with secure endpoints.
- Implement JWT-based authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Work on CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and deploy applications on Azure Cloud.
- Utilize Spring Security and other security tools to protect applications from vulnerabilities.
- Develop and maintain microservices architecture, including inter-service communication and service discovery.
- Optimize MySQL queries for performance and scalability.
- Use Spring Actuator for monitoring application health and diagnosing performance/memory issues.
- Implement caching strategies using Spring Cache, Redis, and understand Hibernates caching mechanisms.
- Debug and troubleshoot multithreaded applications and handle concurrency issues.
- Use Java 8 and Java 17 features such as Streams, Lambdas, Optional, Records, Pattern Matching, and more.
- Write efficient lambda expressions and use Comparator for collection sorting and manipulation.
- Handle circular dependencies in Spring using techniques like @Lazy, setter injection, or interface-based design.
- Work with Spring Data JPA, including writing native queries and understanding the difference from JPQL.
- Use tools like ELK stack, Splunk, or Azure Monitor for log analysis and debugging.
- Participate in code reviews, approve pull requests (PRs), and ensure code quality and security.
- Understand and mitigate application vulnerabilities through secure coding practices.
