Job Description

    Position: Chef / Cook
    Locations: Luxembourg, Finland, Denmark, Spain, Italy, Malta, Poland, Portugal
    Salary: 5000 Euros per month
    Benefits: Free accommodation, free meals, company-provided air tickets, local transportation provided by the company
    Working Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
    Weekends: Saturday and Sunday off


    Roles and Responsibilities

    1. Food Preparation and Cooking

    • Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to company standards and menu guidelines.

    • Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of food items.

    • Ensure proper portion control and minimize food waste.

    2. Kitchen Organization and Hygiene

    • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen at all times.

    • Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards as per European regulations.

    • Ensure all kitchen equipment and tools are properly cleaned and maintained.

    3. Menu and Recipe Management

    • Assist in planning and developing menus based on seasonal availability and customer preferences.

    • Suggest new recipes and innovative ideas for improving menu quality.

    • Follow standard recipes and portion sizes.

    4. Inventory and Cost Control

    • Assist in ordering and managing inventory of raw materials and ingredients.

    • Track stock usage and report shortages or wastage.

    • Maintain cost control by using ingredients efficiently.

    5. Teamwork and Supervision

    • Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth food service operations.

    • For senior chefs: supervise junior cooks, train kitchen assistants, and monitor work quality.

    • Support a positive and efficient work environment.

    6. Compliance and Safety

    • Adhere to company policies and European food regulations.

    • Maintain personal hygiene and proper grooming standards.

    • Ensure safe use of kitchen appliances and equipment.
