Job Description
Role & responsibilities
Incumbent in this position shall bear complete responsibility for safety & security of infrastructure, employees & patients in hospital premises
Key Responsibilities
- Define, implement, and update Security & Safety Manuals; train security team accordingly.
- Conduct routine audits and improve access control and cost measures; train staff on access protocols.
- Implement material control policies, manage gate passes, conduct audits, and train security on material movement.
- Manage smooth vehicle flow, select parking vendors, and train vendor staff; oversee parking MIS.
- Maintain vehicle checklists and records, audit contractor services, optimize fleet costs, and train chauffeurs on service and etiquette.
- Train security on theft prevention and implement Loss Prevention Manual.
- Conduct emergency drills with security, engineering, and ERT teams; document and report findings.
- Liaise with external agencies for smooth hospital operations.
- Ensure cost control and efficient departmental planning.
- Develop SOPs, conduct audits, train security teams and trainers; maintain training documentation.
- Prepare rate comparisons, monitor vendor performance, and manage vendor relationships.
Preferred candidate profile
Graduate with a minimum of 10 years experience, including 3-5 years in a leadership role in Hospital
Strong knowledge of fire safety in high-rise buildings and hospitals, including the installation and operation of the latest fire safety equipment. Experienced in CCTV installation and operation.
Proficient in MS Office applications.
