Job Description
Role Summary:
SM/DGM - Interior is a leadership role and we are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Interior Works to lead and oversee the execution, quality, and coordination of interior finishing activities across our building construction projects. The SME will ensure that all interior works meet design intent, quality standards, and project timelines.
Key responsibilities
- Review and validate interior design drawings, specifications, and material selections.
- Provide expert guidance on interior works including flooring, wall finishes, false ceilings, joinery, modular furniture, lighting, and MEP integration.
- Coordinate with architects, interior designers, vendors, and site teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Monitor workmanship and conduct quality audits to ensure compliance with standards and approved mock-ups.
- Resolve technical issues related to detailing, material compatibility, and site constraints.
- Develop and implement QA/QC protocols, inspection checklists, and acceptance criteria for interior works.
- Support in vendor evaluation, selection, and performance monitoring.
- Conduct training sessions for site engineers and contractors on interior finishing techniques and standards.
- Ensure timely completion of interior works aligned with project milestones and handover schedules.
Who are we looking for?
Education:
Min. Graduate with relevant experience in Construction industry for specific role.
Familiarity with LEED/BREEAM or other sustainability standards is a plus.
Experience:
Relevant experience in Construction industry for specific role.
Strong technical knowledge of interior materials, finishes, and installation techniques.
Experience in high-end residential, commercial, or hospitality projects preferred.
Skills:
Strong technical knowledge of interior materials, finishes, and installation techniques.
Excellent coordination, communication, and documentation skills.
