Job Description
Role & responsibilities
Preferred candidate profile
Staff Nurse:
- Provide professional nursing care as per hospital protocols.
- Monitor patients and record vital signs regularly.
- Administer medication, injections, and IV fluids as prescribed.
- Assist doctors during rounds and medical procedures.
- Maintain patient records, reports, and clinical documentation.
- Ensure infection control and safety standards.
- Provide pre- and post-operative care.
- Manage medical equipment and consumables.
- Coordinate patient care with doctors and other departments.
Nursing Incharge / Supervisor:
- Supervise and guide staff nurses in daily nursing operations.
- Plan duty rosters and manage shift allocations.
- Conduct patient rounds and monitor care quality.
- Manage ward activities, inventories, and stock.
- Conduct on-job training for junior nursing staff.
- Handle escalations, patient concerns, and incident reporting.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and NABH standards.
