Trade Finance Operations Specialist @ Crisil

Job Description

• Issue, advise and amend import/export LCs; process standby LCs and guarantees.
• Examine shipping documents (invoices, bills of lading, insurance certificates) to ensure compliance with LC terms.
• Generate and process SWIFT message types (e.g., MT 700, MT 707, MT 734) for trade payments and amendments.
• Register transactions in the bank s trade finance system and monitor settlement through FED/CHIPS.
• Perform sanctions screening and transaction level due diligence; liaise with compliance on OFAC/AML alerts.

• Bachelor s degree in finance or international business; 2-4 years in US trade finance operations.
• Solid understanding of UCP 600/ISP 98 rules, SWIFT message formats and trade documentation requirements.
• Experience with trade finance platforms and payment systems; strong document review and compliance skills.
