Job Description
- Role Overview: As an Assistant Manager in FP&A Budget & Forecasting at Genpact, you will play a crucial role in supporting management operationally, analytically, and tactically. Your responsibilities will include handling stakeholder requests, solving team queries, auditing and controlling activities, running reports, maintaining files, and leading continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Work closely with various stakeholders to understand business transactions - Ensure appropriate accounting & Reporting of expenses - Financial Planning and Analysis - Prepare monthly summary of actuals posted in SAP - Conduct variance analysis on monthly actuals results versus forecasts - Identify relevant transactions for management reporting and forecasting - Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Finance for material transactions or adjustments - Discuss budget assumptions with Business Unit for Strategic & Annual budgeting and monthly forecast process - Prepare YTG forecast based on the latest Marketing plan and business assumptions - Adhere to the Approval matrix as per company policies and guidelines - Perform Reporting and prepare dashboards on performance - Support Strategic & Annual budget discussions and explain variances - Evaluate and communicate impact of changes in assumptions to BU Finance - Provide risk and opportunity analysis for the current forecast - Publish Expense reports to relevant parties - Identify causes of significant business trends and variances by conducting research - Develop action plans to resolve variances during the rolling estimate process Qualifications Required: Minimum qualifications: - Experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Knowledge of Marketing Expense Management, Budgeting, Forecasting, and operating expense planning - Excellent written & verbal communication skills - High proficiency in MS Office, extensive database modeling experience, and advanced knowledge of MS Excel - Attention to Detail and Determining Financial Impact - Good Knowledge of FP&A concepts like Variance Analysis and accounting concepts Preferred qualifications: - English Intermediate - Prior experience in the FMCG industry is preferred,
