Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced **Part-Time Accountant** to manage day-to-day financial transactions and assist in maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
* Record and reconcile daily financial transactions (sales, purchases, payments, receipts).
* Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and trial balances.
* Manage accounts payable and receivable.
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
* Assist with GST, TDS, and other tax filings.
* Reconcile bank statements and maintain cash flow reports.
* Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting.
* Maintain accurate documentation and filing of financial records.
* Coordinate with external auditors or consultants if needed.
Requirements
* Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
* Minimum [13] years of accounting experience.
* Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar).
* Solid knowledge of accounting principles and Indian taxation (GST, TDS, etc.).
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Good time management and organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently and handle sensitive financial information confidentially.
