Role & responsibilities

In this role you will:

• Reviewing the final Approved Covers & Interior files as per the Publishing standards
  
• Identifying errors in formatting & print specifications
  
• Provide feedbacks to Interior Designers and PMs regarding the technical errors identified
  
• Reviewing Quality aspects of interior files, covers and eBooks before content is finalized and sent for print
  
• Work independently and complete the tasks that are assigned to on a daily basis
  
• Work on Weekends and support the team in achieving the target
  
• Able to work under pressure scenarios and deliver

Preferred candidate profile

• 1 - 2 years of Experience in Quality control/ Quality audits in Journals / Books
  
• Excellent command on Adobe Acrobat professional
  
• Knowledge in Adobe InDesign added advantage
  
• Knowledge about Pitstop added advantage
  
• Experienced in Proofreading, Typesetting and Pagination
  
• Excellent knowledge in Generating Pre-flight reports and fixing technical errors in PDF
  
• Good Knowledge of Ms word and Ms Excel
  
• Knowledge about Prepress checks
  
• Good communication skills - both verbal and written
  
• Proficiency in English required
  
• Hindi Language knowledge is required.
  
• Generally awareness of best practices on quality standards and industry trends in the publishing industry
