Job Description

Role: Senior Data Engineer (Palantir Foundry)
Experience: 5 to 12 Years

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.

• Minimum 6 years of experience in system engineering or software development.

• At least 4 years of hands-on experience in building robust ETL pipelines for batch and streaming data ingestion.

• Proficiency in Python and PySpark for distributed computing; knowledge of SQL and Scala is a plus.

• Strong experience with Palantir Foundry platform components (Code Repository, Ontology Manager, Workshop App, APIs, SDK).

• Solid understanding of Big Data technologies, Hadoop ecosystem, Spark, and distributed computing principles.

• Experience with databases such as Oracle, MySQL, and MS SQL.

• Familiarity with Git, test-driven development, and DevOps workflows.

• Knowledge of AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, EBS) and security best practices (e.g., Apache Ranger).

• Basic understanding of statistics, machine learning, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Qlik) is advantageous.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
