We're hiring a General Manager Operations (Integrated Facility Management) for our client.
Location: Hyderabad
Department: Operations
Experience Required: Minimum 12-20 years in Facility Management, with at least 5-7 years in a senior leadership role.
Salary: 10,00,000 - 15,00,000 per annum (plus performance-based incentives)
Job Summary: We are looking for a senior leader to oversee and manage the overall operations of Integrated Facility Management (IFM) services across multiple client sites. This role demands strong leadership, strategic planning, operational excellence, and client relationship management to ensure high-quality service delivery and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations for Hard & Soft Facility Management services (MEP, HVAC, Housekeeping, Security, Landscaping, etc.).
- Ensure service delivery as per SLAs, KPIs, and statutory compliance standards.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a large multi-disciplinary team of Facility Managers, Engineers, and on-ground staff.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships; act as the primary point of contact for key clients and handle escalations effectively.
- Prepare and manage annual budgets, cost controls, and ensure P&L / profitability of operations.
- Drive process improvements, EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) compliance, and operational excellence across all sites.
- Support business growth, new project transitions, and client retention strategies.
Requirements:
- Graduate in Engineering, Facilities Management, or Business Management (MBA preferred).
- 12-20 years of total experience, with at least 5-7 years in a senior leadership role managing large-scale, multi-site operations.
- Must have experience in the Integrated Facility Management (IFM), Real Estate, or Property Management industry.
- Strong leadership, people management, and client/stakeholder management skills.
- Thorough understanding of both Hard Services (MEP, HVAC, DG, Fire Safety) and Soft Services (Housekeeping, Pest Control).
- Excellent financial acumen with experience managing budgets, P&L, and cost controls.
- Strategic thinking, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.
