Job Description:
We are looking for an skilled and experienced Asst. Design Manager with expertise in EOT Crane design and manufacturing. The candidate should have strong knowledge of structural and mechanical design, design calculations, and be proficient in AutoCAD or similar design software.
Responsibilities:
1. Preparation of Bill of Materials (BOM) and manufacturing drawings.
2. Execution of detail engineering for EOT cranes and related components.
3. Perform load calculations, stress analysis, and structural design.
4. Develop assembly drawings and ensure design accuracy for fabrication and production.
5. Proficiency in AutoCAD or equivalent design software.
6. Knowledge of metrology and inspection parameters related to crane components.
7. Knowledge of Indian standard as well as International Standard of cranes.
7. Coordinate with production, quality, and procurement for design implementation.
8. Ensure designs comply with applicable industry standards and safety regulations.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- B.E./Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- More than 10 years of experience in designing EOT Overhead Cranes or similar material handling equipment
- Strong grasp of mechanical design principles, material selection, and manufacturing processes
- Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other design software
- Good understanding of fabrication, machining, and assembly processes
- Staying in close proximity to the company
