Job Description

A quality control (QC) analyst's job is to ensure products meet established quality and safety standards through inspections, tests, and evaluations. Key responsibilities include collecting and analyzing data, identifying defects, implementing corrective actions, and documenting findings. They collaborate with production teams to resolve issues and maintain product consistency throughout the manufacturing process

Testing and inspection: Perform tests, inspections, and evaluations on raw materials, products in progress, and finished goods to ensure they meet quality specifications.

Data analysis: Analyze test results and other data to identify quality trends, defects, and root causes.

Problem-solving: Collaborate with other departments, such as production and engineering, to troubleshoot and resolve quality issues.

Documentation and reporting: Keep accurate records of all tests and inspections, prepare detailed reports, and maintain all relevant documentation.

Process improvement: Recommend and help implement corrective actions and process improvements to prevent defects and enhance overall quality.

Compliance: Ensure all products and processes comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
