Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Understand functional requirements, seek clarifications from the business analysts where required
- Develop good knowledge of the application and the enhancement/ change request being
- Develop test strategy for the work assigned
- Plan, write and execute test cases
- Prepare test data and related artifacts as needed
- Publish test schedule and test reports on regular basis
- Log test results in test management tool, prepare and maintain defect traceability
- Perform as individual contributor or as a team lead, as applicable in a given role
- Participate in defcet triage meetings
- Guide junior team members where necessary
- Introduce test automation and contribute towards end-to-end process automation
- Contribute towards known issues and resolutions database
