Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Software Testing Trainer with a strong understanding of AI-driven testing tools, automation frameworks, and real-world QA practices. This role involves training students and professionals in manual, automation, and AI-powered testing methodologies helping them become industry-ready testers for modern tech ecosystems.
Youll be part of a growing AI Education & Training Initiative under AI Vidya / iTester, designed to bridge the gap between conventional QA skills and next-generation AI testing automation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver hands-on training sessions on Software Testing (Manual, Automation, and AI-based).
- Develop structured curriculum, lab exercises, and assessment projects aligned with industry standards.
- Introduce learners to AI-driven testing tools such as Testim.io, Mabl, Applitools, and Katalon with AI support.
- Teach automation using Selenium, PyTest, Cypress, and Playwright integrated with AI models.
- Guide students on prompt-based test generation, predictive defect analysis, and AI-assisted bug reporting.
- Evaluate learner performance, provide feedback, and mentor interns or entry-level QA engineers.
- Collaborate with the AI Research & Product teams to incorporate real use cases and projects.
- Stay current with emerging trends in AI + QA automation, LLM-based testing, and generative AI productivity tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Software Testing (Manual + Automation).
- Proven experience using AI/ML tools or automation frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of Python/JavaScript and testing frameworks (PyTest, Selenium, etc.).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and test management tools (JIRA, TestRail).
- Prior experience as a trainer, mentor, or corporate instructor preferred.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with Generative AI (ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, etc.) for productivity and test data generation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications like ISTQB, Certified Agile Tester, or AI Testing Certification.
- Knowledge of LLM evaluation methods, synthetic data generation, or model testing.
- Experience mentoring students or teams in AI-assisted QA automation projects.
