Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Reviewing the final Approved Covers & Interior files as per the Publishing standards
Identifying errors in formatting & print specifications
Provide feedbacks to Interior Designers and PMs regarding the technical errors identified
Reviewing Quality aspects of interior files, covers and eBooks before content is finalized and sent for print
Work independently and complete the tasks that are assigned to on a daily basis
Work on Weekends and support the team in achieving the target
Able to work under pressure scenarios and deliver

Preferred candidate profile

1 - 2 years of Experience in Quality control/ Quality audits in Journals / Books
Excellent command on Adobe Acrobat professional
Knowledge in Adobe InDesign added advantage
Knowledge about Pitstop added advantage
Experienced in Proofreading, Typesetting and Pagination
Excellent knowledge in Generating Pre-flight reports and fixing technical errors in PDF
Good Knowledge of MS word and MS Excel
Knowledge about Prepress checks
Good communication skills - both verbal and written
Proficiency in English required
Hindi Language knowledge is required.
Generally awareness of best practices on quality standards and industry trends in the publishing industry
