Job Description
- Vendor Due Diligence:Conduct comprehensive due diligence on both potential and existing vendors. This should include thorough background checks, financial analysis, and compliance reviews.
- Risk Assessment:Evaluate vendor risk profiles based on various factors such as financial stability, operational capabilities, compliance history, and cybersecurity measures.
- Compliance Management:Ensure all vendor relationships comply with internal policies and external regulatory requirements. Monitor and manage compliance issues and implement corrective actions as needed.Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including procurement, legal, compliance teams, and vendors, to ensure a holistic approach to vendor risk management.
- Audits:Regularly audit vendor processes and performance to ensure ongoing compliance and risk mitigation. Identify areas for improvement and work with vendors to implement necessary changes.
- Data Analysis:Analyze data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in vendor performance and risk profiles. Use data-driven insights to inform risk assessment and decision-making processes.
- Documentation:Maintain detailed records of due diligence and risk assessment processes, findings, and recommendations.
- Reporting:Prepare and present risk assessment reports to senior management, highlighting key risks and recommended actions.
- Continuous Improvement:Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes to improve the vendor due diligence and risk assessment processes continuously.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in supplier due diligence, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using due diligence and risk assessment tools.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to supplier management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred:
- Experience with international suppliers and global supply chains.
- Familiarity with sustainability and ethical sourcing practices.
