Were growing our Renewable Energy Division and are looking for a passionate and experienced professional to join our team in Chennai!Position: Design Engineer Civil
Department: Renewables (Solar, Wind, Hydro Green, BESS)
Location: Chennai
Company: TUV India Pvt. Ltd. (A part of the German-based TV NORD GROUP Project Management Consultancy)Key Responsibilities:
Lead role in civil design engineering for renewable energy projects
Involved in design review and quality assessment for projects in core renewable sectorsRequirements:
B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering with M.E / MTech
Experience: 3 to 7 Years
Hands-on experience in design review within the Renewable/Energy sector (Solar, Wind)
Location: ChennaiJob Role:
Evaluate engineering design as per the Standards and provide value additions to enhance the quality of the project.
Preparation of related technical documents, calculation for Preliminary design support to the customer.
Review of Vendor document conforming with laid down specifications plus dimensional compatibility.
Prepare design basis report, RFP, BOQ Preparation, Switchyard drawings at PSS and GSS end, Gantrys, Solar PV layout, etc.
Review of design calculation of Solar PV MMS, Equipment structures, Tower structures, foundation, etc,.
Hands-on experience of System studies software such as Staad Pro, ETABS, AutoCAD.
Monitor and maintain the ISO 9001, ISO 17020 accreditations requirements.
Good Understanding & Working knowledge of various Building, Substation, Solar & Wind Power Project and related engineering.
Daily monitor the reports received from the engineers, provide feedback to the engineers and train the team.
Qualification, Methodology, Supervision and mapping the competence.
Strong understanding of BIS codes and standards.
Ability to create and interpret technical drawings.
