Recipient Experience (REX) Our mission is to deliver reliable and innovative solutions that allows the business to optimize targeting and sending post order transactional notifications WW and enables end-customers to receive timely order updates and prompts to take action when needed. We strive to create technology and system that is user-friendly, efficient, SLA driven and serves as a central platform for multiple businesses to manage their transactional notifications. Our team is dedicated to continuously improving our products by adding communication channels, reduce cost to deliver, improve experimentation velocity and reduce operational load to stay ahead of the curve and meet the evolving needs of our customers. We are looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer (Sr SDE) to help set the technical vision for the products they own. They are a force multiplier within the team by being a role model and by mentoring other SDEs in the team. They are fungible and able to pick up new systems and quickly consult when needed. They understand the complexities in the design and solve them head on. We are looking for someone who has an established background delivering highly distributed systems at scale, design patterns like SDKs, libraries, versioning, and a good operational track record while working with multiple teams. As a Senior SDE, this role provides you with autonomy and ownership to solve difficult problems, working backwards from client and customer impact problems such as resource isolation in distributed systems.- The ideal candidate for this role has strong experience in designing and developing scalable high-performance systems and services that are flexible, reliable, and maintainable.
- You have excellent problem-solving skills, a solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, and a customer-focused mindset.
- You take pragmatic and iterative approach to building software: you have an ability to simplify and get things done with a demonstrated track record of building and delivering software and working effectively with external and internal teams.
- You will build services to handle billions of requests per day, while maintaining response latencies in the milliseconds and meeting strict SLA requirements.
- Our systems and algorithms operate on one of the worlds largest product catalogs and it is quite routine for our systems to operate on massive datasets using distributed frameworks.

- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
- 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
