Job Description
We are seeking an experienced M365 Expert with strong automation and scripting capabilities to modernize, secure, and optimize our Microsoft 365 environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving end-to-end M365 administration, automation of operational workloads, improving end-user experience, and supporting digital workplace initiatives across Exchange Online, Intune, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Power Platform, and Microsoft Defender.Core M365 Administration
- Manage and administer Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Intune, Entra ID (Azure AD), and Microsoft Defender suite
- Implement policies for security, compliance, DLP, retention, conditional access, and MFA
- Lead Teams and OneDrive governance , guest access, lifecycle, and adoption initiatives
- Oversee M365 tenant health, capacity, licensing, monitoring, and service availability
- Manage Windows Autopilot, device configuration, compliance policies, and app deployments in Intune
Automation & Scripting
- Automate admin and operational tasks using:
- PowerShell, Graph API, Power Automate, Azure Automation Runbooks
- Build reusable scripts to automate:
- User provisioning/deprovisioning
- License assignment and reporting
- Intune device enrollment/configuration workflows
- Compliance and security audit reports
- Exchange/SharePoint/Teams administrative tasks
- Integrate automation with ServiceNow, Azure, and ITSM workflows
Modern Workplace & Integration
- Lead M365 transformation initiatives including Intune migration, Autopilot rollout, Identity modernization, and Zero-Trust
- Integrate M365 services with Power Platform, Defender, and third-party tools
- Enable Self-service automation for end-users and IT through Power Apps / Power Automate
- Collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, and Networking teams to ensure a consistent Modern Workplace experience
- Implement and maintain Zero Trust, Identity Protection, Conditional Access, and Endpoint Security
- Manage DLP, eDiscovery, Purview, Data Classification, and Audit policies
- Ensure alignment with CIS / NIST / ISO27001 security best practices
- 7-10+ years of experience in M365 / Modern Workplace / Messaging
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- PowerShell, Graph API, Power Automate, Azure Automation
- Intune, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, Entra ID
- Windows Autopilot, Device Compliance & Configuration
- Strong knowledge of M365 Security & Compliance, Conditional Access, Defender XDR
- Good understanding of Networking, Identity, RBAC, and Zero Trust architecture
- Experience automating operational tasks and building dashboards/reports
- Microsoft Certifications: MS-102, SC-300, MD-102, AZ-104, PL-300, PL-400
- Experience with SCCM, Entra ID Governance, Hybrid Exchange, Hybrid AD
- Knowledge of KQL, Power BI, or ServiceNow Integrations is an advantage
- Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management
- Ability to lead technical projects and cross-functional initiatives
- Passion for modernization, automation, and continuous improvement
