Job Description
Position Title:
Electrical BIM Modeler / BIM Engineer Electrical (Executive Engg - Senior Engg)
Department:
MEP Electrical
Location: Jaipur
Reporting To:
Project Manager of Jaipur Electrical Team
Objective of the Role:
To execute high-quality Revit modeling, detailing, and coordination for electrical services on international projects across multiple building sectors. The candidate should have hands-on experience in BIM workflows, tools, clash coordination, and collaborative platforms.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
Autodesk Revit MEP Advanced modeling, detailing, and annotation skills.
Autodesk Navisworks Clash detection, coordination review, and report generation.
Clash Coordination Platforms: Experience with one or more:
BIM Track
Revizto
Common Data Environment (CDE) Tools: Familiarity with collaborative platforms such as:
BLUEBEAM
Autodesk Constructions Cloud
BIM 360
ProjectWise Core Responsibilities:
1. Modeling and Detailing:
l Revit-based modeling of Electrical & ELV (Extra Low Voltage) services.
l Create electrical circuiting, wiring layouts, panel/DB schedules.
l Prepare RCP layouts, shaft coordination drawings, section details (MV & electrical rooms).
l Develop containment details in coordination with other MEP disciplines.
l Produce Builders Work Drawings (BW) including slab, core wall openings, blockwork.
2. Project Coordination & Clash Management:
l Participate in clash coordination for Architectural, Structural, and MEPF trades.
l Use Navisworks/BIM Track/Revizto/BIM 360 for clash resolution and tracking.
l Coordinate with other trades and disciplines for integrated design delivery.
3. Documentation & Deliverables:
l Develop electrical drawings and documentation across project phases (Schematic, Design Development, IFC, etc.).
l Prepare fabrication models, spool drawings, and shop drawings.
l Perform QA/QC checks for models, families, and drawings.
l Create and manage parametric Revit families.
4. Quantity Take-off & BOQ:
l Perform BIM-based quantity take-offs for Electrical items and services.
l Support in the preparation of BOQs and procurement documentation.
5. Support Modeling Tasks:
l Model electrical equipment supports and hanger details.
l Ensure Revit interface best practices (views, browser setup, filters, schedules, etc.)
Experience Requirements:
Years of Experience: 1 to 4 years in BIM Modeling (Electrical).
Project Experience: Must have worked on international projects (US/UK/ Middle East,APAC etc.).

l Commercial
l Institutional (schools, colleges, hospitals)
l Transportation (airports, metro)
l Data Centres
Desired Soft Skills:
l Strong communication and coordination abilities.
l Good understanding of design documentation phases.
l Problem-solving approach in a collaborative work environment.
l Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and workflows.
l Ability to work independently or in a team across time zones.
Preferred Qualifications:
l Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
l Autodesk Certification in Revit (preferred).
l Additional certification in BIM workflows (advantageous).
Key Deliverables:
l Fully coordinated electrical BIM models (LOD 300-500).
l Clash-free models with all coordination reports.
l Shop drawings, builders work, spool drawings as per project needs.
l Model-based quantity take-off reports.
