About the role

In this role as an Analyst - Global Trade Content, you will:

  • Conduct comprehensive research and analysis to interpret and update regulations related to global trade for various countries from official government sources.
  • Stay updated on changes in assigned tariffs by vigilantly monitoring official sources, ensuring a proactive approach to gathering information, and promptly delivering accurate updates into the system.
  • Convert regulatory updates or changes into a standardized or software compatible format for loading into the system.
  • Analyze customer inquiries related to assigned tariffs and provide well-researched and accurate responses in a timely manner, ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Identify reliable contacts and data sources for assigned countries using official government sources and establish good working relationships.
  • Document processes, procedures, and work instructions for assigned tariffs according to established guidelines and templates.
  • Identify and report bugs in standard files and systems and assist in testing new features and improvements as part of the ADO process.
  • Support project management tasks by working under close supervision. Assist with data collection, analysis, and preparation of reports.
  • Seek opportunities to grow regulatory data for assigned tariffs.
  • Shift Timings: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM (IST).
  • Work from office for 2-3 days in a week (Mandatory)

About You

Youre a fit for the role of Analyst - Global Trade Content, if your background includes:

  • Bachelors degree in international Trade, Business, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of Harmonized System (HS) and Customs regulations.
  • Knowledge in import and export operations.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent command of English. Proficiency in other language(s) will be an added advantage.
  • Analytical and interpretation skills.
  • Strong MS Excel skills.
  • Strong focus on delivery, including attention to details.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while at the same time fully participating in a team environment.
