Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Clinical Duties

Provide immediate assessment, resuscitation, and management of critically ill and injured paediatric patients.
Diagnose and treat acute medical, surgical, and trauma emergencies in children.
Perform necessary procedures (e.g., IV/IO access, intubation, LP, fracture stabilization, etc.).
Coordinate patient transfer and admission to appropriate inpatient units when required.
Liaise with consultants and multidisciplinary teams for advanced management and follow-up care.
Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all clinical encounters.

Skills and Competencies:

Expertise in paediatric resuscitation and emergency procedures.
Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced emergency setting.
Commitment to compassionate, family-centred paediatric care.
