Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for the design, development, and testing of components/modules in TOP (Trade Open Platform) using Spark, Java, Hive, and other related big-data technologies within a datalake architecture. Additionally, you will contribute to the design, development, and deployment of new features and components in the Azure public cloud. Your role will involve enhancing and testing new REST APIs within TOP, ensuring optimal performance processes, and participating in release and deployment activities following CD/CI practices. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and test components/modules in TOP using Spark, Java, Hive, and related big-data technologies - Contribute to the design, development, and deployment of new features and components in Azure public cloud - Enhance, develop, and test new REST APIs in TOP - Ensure optimal performance processes and assist in performance tuning and optimization - Deploy using CD/CI practices and tools in various environments including development, UAT, and production - Follow Ag**e@Sc**e process including participation in PI Planning, Sprint planning, and Back-log maintenance in Jira - Organize training sessions on the core platform and related technologies for the Tribe/Business line Qualifications Required: - Around 4-6 years of experience in the IT industry, preferably in the banking domain - Expertise in Java (Java 1.8, Junit, Java thread, collections, Streaming, dependency injection/inversion), Big Data technologies (Spark, Oozie, Hive), and Azure (AKS, CLI, Event, Key Vault) - Experience in digital transformation initiatives with knowledge of Unix, SQL/RDBMS, and Monitoring Note: Location for this position is Bangalore/Hyderabad.
