Job Description
- User Research:Conduct user research through interviews, surveys, usability testing, and analytics to deeply understand user needs, pain points, and behaviours.
- Develop user personas to represent different user groups and inform design decisions.
- Prepare user journeys, task flows, user flows and competitive analysis against the industry trends.
- Design Execution and Documentation:Create sitemaps, user flows, and information architecture to define the structure and navigation of a product.
- Develop high-fidelity visual designs, including layouts, typography, colour schemes, and UI elements that align with brand guidelines.
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback and testing results.Document design philosophy and prepare detailed annotations in the mock-ups for developers to follow.
- Collaboration and Communication:Collect requirements by collaborating with product team, tech team.Present design ideas and concepts and articulate design rationale to stakeholdersCollaborate with cross-functional teams (product management & engineering) to ensure design alignment and successful product launch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience.
- Identify business and technical requirements to build custom solutions, analyze data, and efficiently automate tasks using Microsoft Power Platform, while integrating with other Microsoft products such as Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud
- Create sitemaps, user flows, and information architecture to define the structure and navigation of a product.
- Convert design mock-ups into interactive and accessible user interfaces.
- Optimize UI performance across various devices and browsers.
- Develop high-fidelity visual designs, including layouts, typography, colour schemes, and UI elements that align with brand guidelines.
- Ensure designs are consistent with brand guidelines and accessibility standards.
- Maintain and update existing UI components and documentation.
- Stay up to date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback and testing results.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge in Microsoft Power Platform with Power Apps (Canva), Power Automate, Power BI
- Strong knowledge in PowerFx
- Experience in building canvas application using the SharePoint as data source
- Experience in Excel Checklist digitalisation
- Experience with SharePoint REST API and Data Access Strategy
- Proficiency in PCF, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and frameworks like React and Angular JS.
- Experience in Microsoft 365, Azure cloud and database (like SQL, PostgreSQL)
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Hand off designs to developers for implementation
- Knowledge in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, illustrator is a plus
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in design, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development processes.
- Portfolio showcasing UI projects and design implementations.
- Familiarity with front-end development frameworks is a bonus.
