Job Description
Strategic
- Developing new features and maintaining existing features of Open Text Content Server 20.
- Hands-on development experience in OpenText Oscript, LAPI, Workflow, forms and web development technologies based on OpenText Content Server 20 environment.
- Hands-on development experience in Livereports, Webreports and Power Views.
- Hands-on development experience in CWS and Restful web services.
- At least one end to end implementation of Content Server and Archive Center, xECM implementation is an added advantage.
- Ability to upgrade and patch Content Server and Archive Center.
- Participate in feature/function design, development, and delivery of Enterprise Content Management software component
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and fix highly complex code defects
- Ensure solution fulfill all functional and non-functional requirements to meet the business needs
- Work with development teams on-site and remotely
- Provide assistance to client support, documentation and quality assurance as needed
- Gain working knowledge of all existing applications in order to make enhancement and take design decisions
- A Computer Science University degree or equivalent work experience
- A strong commitment to professional client service excellence
- Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in teams
- Good verbal and written communications skills
- Excellent Analytical Skill
- Demonstrated project management capabilities.
- The ability to effectively manage multiple assignments and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- General knowledge of software development lifecycle
- Demonstrated hands-on expertise in OpenText Content Server and Microsoft SharePoint products, technologies, platforms, frameworks, and methodologies
- Proven ability to work in a team environment and ability to work independently in a highly matrixed, varied and diverse environment with fast changing priorities
- The ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives
- A high attention to detail while producing quality work in a timely manner
- Expertise in application development and the system development lifecycle
