Job Description

Role: Optical Network Deployment Engineer (5+ Years)
Location: Bangalore (EC)

Infogain is looking for an Optical Network Deployment Engineer to join our Backbone Network team, focusing on DWDM, Ciena, and Fiber Optic deployments.

Key Responsibilities:

Deploy, configure, and test DWDM optical systems (Ciena, Infinera).
Handle migrations, capacity upgrades, and decommissioning.
Collaborate on network design and workflow documentation.
Troubleshoot and optimize optical and IP network performance.

Skills & Experience:

Strong knowledge of Ciena 6500 and DWDM technologies (ROADM, Mux/Demux, Amplifiers, Transponders).
Experience in Optical deployments and Network migrations.
Understanding of TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS.
CCNA/JNCIA certification preferred.
