Job Description

We are excited to share an excellent opportunity for the role of ETL Developer to join our offshore team supporting enterprise healthcare data solutions.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate ETL Developer with hands-on experience in IBM DataStage and exposure to cloud data platforms like Snowflake. The role involves working closely with senior architects and data engineers to build, maintain, and optimize data pipelines for healthcare analytics and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

ETL Development & Data Integration

• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using IBM DataStage and Snowflake.
• Support data ingestion, transformation, and loading processes for healthcare datasets.
• Assist in implementing HIPAA-compliant workflows and secure data handling.
• Translate solution designs into executable ETL jobs.

Healthcare Data Support

• Work with structured and semi-structured healthcare data (claims, enrollment, billing).
• Perform data validation, cleansing, and quality checks.

Cloud & Scheduling Tools

• Gain exposure to Snowflake features (Snowpipe, Streams, Secure Data Sharing).
• Support job orchestration using IBM Workload Scheduler (IWS).
• Participate in cloud migration and performance tuning initiatives.

Collaboration & Learning

• Work closely with offshore and onsite teams.
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and knowledge-sharing.
• Stay updated with evolving healthcare data standards and technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 13 years of experience in ETL development using IBM DataStage or similar tools.
• Basic understanding of Snowflake or other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with SQL and Python.
• Exposure to healthcare data models and regulatory standards (HIPAA, EDI).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with IBM Workload Scheduler (IWS).
• Exposure to healthcare interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7).
• Knowledge of data warehousing and performance optimization.
• Certification in Snowflake or cloud platforms is a plus.
