We have the following opening for our client, a reputed iron ore mining steel manufacturing company in Hospet, Karnataka location requires,
AGM - Commercial (Corporate Office)
Base Location : Hospet
Experience : 8-12 Yrs
Age : 30 -40 Yrs
Industry : Manufacturing (Mining / Cement / Steel / Pellet / pharma/ construction)
Qualification : BE/B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering) with PGD in Materials Management
Job Requirements:
- Good Negotiation Skills with Suppliers.
- Working experience with SAP (MM Module).
Role and Responsibilities
- Material Planning, Sourcing & Vendor Development. - Evaluation of vendors by facilitating the technical evaluation with quality team and then select the vendors in most cost effective manner and finalize the Contracts.
- Long term Business Associations.
- Ensure procurement for the raw materials as per the production schedules - Ensure procurement for the trading items as per production plans, including imports.
- Verification of invoices on freight and materials.
- Ensure the payment commitments with outside parties are met by coordinating with finance and division coordinators.
- Ensure disposal of redundant scrap and as well as non moving / slow moving inventory.
- Issue resolution and complaint handling with internal customers as well as suppliers.
- Responsible for store and inventory management at Plant Operations, coordinate with corporate procurement as and when required.
- Conduct reorder level review, inventory reduction initiatives and institute procedures for the proper and accurate receipt, storage and issue of items.
- Cost reduction and improvement of value Engineering
- Monitor commercial terms for CAPEX, including building and construction and pattern equipment.
- Price Negotiation and Price Variation Analysis.
- Project Budget, Preparation of Estimates & Tender Document Preparation.
- Any other work assigned to you on time to time basis
