Job Description

Job Title - Process Engineer

Department- Process engineering

Qualification - BE or ME in Mechanical / Chemical engg.

Experience- 3 to 8 years

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Thermal design of Boiler / Heater in respective software.
• Sizing of Fans, Pumps, Burners, dampers, ducts, piping, safety valves,
• Preparing Specifications and review offer for fans, pumps, burners, dampers, auxiliaries
• Proposal and contract stage P&ID, PFD, GA, datasheet preparation
• Read Tender Specification and prepare clarifications and deviations. Note budget points.
• Prepare Bill of materials for purpose of budgeting
• Prepare instrumentation data for control valves, pressure, temperature and flow instruments.
• Basic understanding of ERP system such as BaaN , PLM
• Basic Understanding documentation flow between various departments & customer interface.

Critical Competencies:

• Understanding of Thermodynamics, Heat transfer and Fluid Mechanics related to boiler
• Basic Understanding of Boiler auxiliaries
• Basic Understanding of boiler / heater construction,
• Basic Understanding of boiler / heater operation
• Basic Understanding of boiler / heater erection
• Basic Understanding of boiler / heater commissioning activities
• Basic understating related to analysis of site data & preparing PG test report calculations
