Job Description
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using DataStage (must-have) and Talend (good to have).
- Ensure efficient extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various sources into Big Data/Data Warehouse.
- Responsible for Linux and Shell scripting, along with SQL & PL/SQL.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders including data modelers and business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications/solutions.
- Work in Agile methodology using JIRA.
- Design, develop, and implement ETL pipelines using DataStage and Talend.
- Optimize ETL pipelines for performance and scalability.
- Maintain documentation for ETL processes, workflows, and system architecture.
- Troubleshoot and resolve code issues and errors.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in SQL and experienced with RDBMS like Oracle and Snowflake.
- Familiar with data modeling concepts and tools/techniques.
- Skilled in Shell scripting and Linux.
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills and able to work both independently and in a team setup.
