Job Description

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Computer Science.
5+ years of experience as a Test Automation Engineer or Application Developer.
10+ years of hands-on experience with automation methodologies or application programming in Java and/or Python.

Backend Testing Responsibilities

Design and implement frameworks for backend API and message-based testing using Cucumber and Spring Boot. (exposure to Karate a plus)
Develop and execute tests for backend services, including REST API testing with tools like Postman, NewMan.
Apply automation testing across middleware components (like ESB, MQ) to ensure integration and performance.
Validate data across various databases (RDBMS and/or NO-SQL)

Optional: Performance testing knowledge

Skills and Competencies:

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Quick to adapt to new processes and technologies.
Strong coding, design, and analytical skills.
Familiarity with backend API services and cloud infrastructure environments.

Understanding of HL7 v2, CCD-A, and FHIR standards, or prior experience in the Healthcare domain is preferred
