Job Description
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Computer Science.
- 5+ years of experience as a Test Automation Engineer or Application Developer.
- 10+ years of hands-on experience with automation methodologies or application programming in Java and/or Python.
Backend Testing Responsibilities
- Design and implement frameworks for backend API and message-based testing using Cucumber and Spring Boot. (exposure to Karate a plus)
- Develop and execute tests for backend services, including REST API testing with tools like Postman, NewMan.
- Apply automation testing across middleware components (like ESB, MQ) to ensure integration and performance.
- Validate data across various databases (RDBMS and/or NO-SQL)
Optional: Performance testing knowledge
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Quick to adapt to new processes and technologies.
- Strong coding, design, and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with backend API services and cloud infrastructure environments.
Understanding of HL7 v2, CCD-A, and FHIR standards, or prior experience in the Healthcare domain is preferred
