- An MBA degree in Finance or Accounting
- A strong understanding of accounting concepts, particularly as they apply to investment funds
- Outstanding financial modeling skills (including the full P&L, balance sheet and cash flow statement). Interest in, and general understanding of, both the private and public equity markets
- Excellent quantitative skills and financial acumen
- Strong communications skills, written and verbal
- Attention to detail, including accuracy of financial model inputs and formulas
- Ability to multi-task, working on a number of different projects at any given time, and meet specified deadlines with a high degree of output
- Intellectual curiosity; willingness to challenge assumptions and ask why
- Ability to work well as part of a team in a small firm with little infrastructure or administrative support
- Desire and willingness to take initiative and work in a fast-paced environment
