Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Implement and monitor fire and safety policies, procedures, and standards.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, fire drills, and risk assessments.
- Ensure availability, testing, and maintenance of fire-fighting equipment and systems.
- Identify unsafe conditions and recommend corrective actions.
- Conduct safety training and awareness programs for employees and contractors.
- Maintain fire safety records, incident reports, and statutory documentation.
- Coordinate with local fire authorities and emergency services.
- Support accident investigation and suggest preventive measures.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and company safety regulations.
Preferred candidate profile
- Diploma / Degree in Fire & Safety Engineering or equivalent.
- 5-10 years of experience in industrial or corporate safety operations.
- Sound knowledge of fire safety systems, EHS norms, and emergency response.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
