Job Title: Test Lead - Lead

Happiest Minds Technologies is seeking a highly skilled and experienced **Test Lead** to join our dynamic team. As a Test Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through effective testing strategies. You will lead a team of testers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the testing process, enhance automation practices, and integrate emerging technologies like Gen AI into our testing frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of testers in both manual and automation testing efforts, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards.
- Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements and specifications.
- Conduct manual testing to validate software functionality and identify any defects, ensuring coverage of all critical test scenarios.
- Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Evaluate and integrate Gen AI tools to enhance testing processes and increase team productivity.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for projects involving sensitive healthcare data.
- Collaborate with development teams, product managers, and stakeholders to refine requirements and provide feedback on software usability.
- Analyze test results, report defects, and track them to closure; provide regular status updates to management.
- Continuously assess and improve testing methodologies, tools, and processes within the organization.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8-11 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on both manual and automation testing.
- Strong proficiency in manual testing techniques and methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with Python Automation testing tools and frameworks like Pytest, Robot
- Familiarity with Generative AI technologies and their application in software testing.
- In-depth knowledge of HIPAA regulations and best practices in healthcare software testing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Proven leadership abilities, with experience managing or mentoring junior testing staff.
