REQUIREMENTS:

  • Total Experience: 6+ years in software testing, with strong exposure to automation.
  • Strong experience in automating test cases for web applications using Playwright with JavaScript.
  • Strong in SQL and API Testing.
  • Expertise in Cucumber, SpecFlow, and Playwright frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience in UI automation, test data management, and defect management using tools like JIRA.
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and experience working in Agile projects.
  • Proven ability to design, optimize, and maintain test automation frameworks.
  • Strong coding skills in JavaScript (knowledge of Java, C#, Python, or VBScript is an advantage).
  • Expertise in integrating automation frameworks with CI/CD pipelines and test management tools.
  • Experience using Selenium WebDriver, TFS, JIRA, GIT, Jenkins, or other CI/CD tools.
  • Hands-on experience with BDT frameworks (Gherkin) and tools like Rest Assured for API testing.
  • Exposure to testing tools such as UFT, TOSCA, TestComplete, Katalon Studio, Appium, Coded UI, Protractor, or Selenium.
  • Good understanding of testing frameworks like JUnit, NUnit, TestNG, or similar.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps suite is a plus.
  • Strong communication and client interaction skills, with ability to align QA processes with client expectations.
  • Proven ability to create dashboards and provide insights on test execution, coverage, and quality status.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Experience ensuring quality, performance, and reliability of applications through effective QA practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Understand projects functional and non-functional requirements and overall business context.
  • Interact with clients to identify testing scope, expectations, acceptance criteria, and required test data/environment.
  • Work closely with Product Owners to define and refine acceptance criteria.
  • Prepare detailed test plans and test strategies aligned with project objectives.
  • Estimate test efforts, prepare testing schedules, assign tasks, and identify dependencies.
  • Identify, mitigate, and resolve business and technical risks throughout the testing lifecycle.
  • Design and develop automation frameworks following coding standards and best practices.
  • Create, update, and review test automation scripts for UI and API layers using Playwright.
  • Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines and ensure consistent execution.
  • Execute and maintain regression, functional, and integration tests.
  • Prepare test summary reports, analyze test results, and recommend release readiness.
  • Communicate measurable quality metrics and highlight problem areas with proposed solutions.
  • Participate in sprint ceremonies and retrospective meetings to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Conduct application demos for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Triage and prioritize defects in collaboration with team and stakeholders.
  • Provide constructive feedback to team members, support peer reviews, and set clear quality expectations.
