Role & responsibilities

Assist in preparing ingredients for cooking (washing, peeling, chopping vegetables; measuring ingredients, etc.)
Support senior chefs in cooking and plating dishes during service
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations
Ensure all food preparation areas and equipment are cleaned and sanitized regularly
Store food properly and ensure compliance with food safety standards (FIFO, labeling, temperature checks)
Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries
Follow recipes and instructions from senior chefs
Learn and develop culinary techniques and knowledge under supervision
Dispose of waste properly and assist in stock rotation
