Job Description
Role & responsibilities
Kinaxis Technical Consultant Minimum 2 - years of experience in Supply Chain management/Planning domain and have good knowledge on advantages of concurrent planning system Knowledge on various integration activities in Kinaxis RapidResponse, including but not limited to: a. Configuring Data Sources and Mapping between various systems and Kinaxis RR. b. Development of source and destination field mappings c. Data Model customizations d. Provide logic & specifications for extraction of data from source systems to Kinaxis e. Providing the logic and scheduling system tasks for the data update, data extraction and synchronization process between DIS and PS post any transformation activities in Kinaxis RapidResponse. f. Interact with ETL teams to ensure cleansed data comes into Kinaxis RapidResponse in the correct format g. Data Validation in Staging Tables h. Know when to use NetChange Vs Full Imports i. Setting up tolerances for files and tables and monitoring data updates j. Tracing data issues with respect to historical files k. Knowledge on best practices to be followed during migration of changes from one environment to the other via RPK/IPK Experience as an administrator for setting up users with the required permissions based on the rolls Monitoring system memory consumption Kinaxis Certification preferred/required Level 1 certifications Ability to configure workbooks, alerts in Rapid Response based on solution design documents. Foundational level understanding of Kinaxis Rapid Response data model, key control settings and analytics. Experience with integration of legacy data, or spreadsheets and data management in Kinaxis Rapid Response. Management of test plans and test cases, unit testing of solution, issue resolution and user acceptance testing. Exposure in maintenance of Kinaxis solution. Support the data management, validation and testing of the solution and capture user feedback. Kinaxis Rapid Response Contributor Level 1, Author Level 1 and Administrative Level 1 certifications are desired. Knowledge of integrating Kinaxis with host ERP systems both Inbound and Outbound Interfaces Kinaxis administration knowledge is required.
