Role & responsibilities
Collaborate with the city teams and HR team to maintain a positive and compliant workplace by handling employee grievances, conducting investigations, managing conflicts, and ensuring adherence to labor laws and company policies
Conflict resolution: Act as a primary point of contact for employees and managers, mediating conflicts and resolving grievances in a timely and effective manner.
Investigations: Conduct thorough and objective investigations into employee complaints and disciplinary issues, ensuring fair and consistent processes.
Legal compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws, regulations, and company policies by staying updated on legal changes and providing guidance to management.
Policy and procedure: Assist in developing, implementing, and communicating workplace policies, procedures, and programs related to employee conduct and relations.
Risk mitigation: Proactively identify potential risks and develop strategies to prevent future employee relations issues and mitigate legal exposure.
Training and development: Coach managers on performance management, conflict resolution, and other employee relations topics.
Employee engagement: Implement initiatives such as surveys, feedback channels, and recognition programs to promote a positive and engaged workforce.
Prevent any type of unionisation in the organisation and has the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations with diplomacy and integrity.
Work with the regional team and liaison with local and regional government officials.
