Job Description
Zycus is seeking an experienced and passionate Principal Software Developer with a strong foundation in Java, J2EE, and JDK technologies. The ideal candidate is a coding enthusiast with 5+ years of experience and a solid grasp of Core Java concepts, including multithreading, OOP, Collections, data structures, algorithms, and synchronization. Proficiency in Spring Boot, Microservices, and design patterns is essential. Exposure to cloud platforms, full-stack development, and Agile methodologies will be an added advantage.
What will you be doing?
- TechnicaStrategy: Collaborate with the leadership team to define and execute the overaltechnicastrategy aligned with business goals. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
- Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects within established timelines and budget constraints. Collaborate with cross-functionateams to ensure seamless coordination between engineering and other departments.
- TechnicaExcellence: Drive a culture of technicaexcellence, quality, and best practices within the engineering team. Provide technicaguidance and support to resolve complex technicachallenges.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with product management, design, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and alignment of priorities. Communicate engineering strategies, progress, and challenges to the executive team.
What will you require to be successful in this role:
- 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering.
- Require deep technicaknowledge in Software Product Engineering using Java/J2EE, Python, Multhreading, data structures, collections, OOPS, synchronization, Algorithm, Microservices, Springboot, Node.js, React.js, fullstack, NosqlDB, mongodb, cassandra, neo4j, elastic search, kibana, elk, kafka, redis, Kubernetes.
- Candidates must have ability to solve problem using Generative AI based software development methodologies.
- Key Programming Skills: Java, J2EE with cutting edge technologies.
- High technicacredibility - ability to audit technicadecisions and push for the best solution to a problem.
- Experience building E2E Application right from backend database to persistent layer.
- Experience UI technologies Angular, react.js, Node.js or fullstack environment wilbe preferred.
- Experience with NoSQtechnologies (MongoDB, Cassandra, Neo4j, Dynamodb, etc.)
- Experience in developing Enterprise Software using Agile Methodology.
- Good understanding of Kafka, Redis, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, Solr etc.
- SaaS cloud-based platform exposure.
- Ownership E2E design development and also quality enterprise product/application deliverable exposure
- A track record of setting and achieving high standards
- Strong understanding of modern technology architecture
- Key Programming Skills: Java, J2EE with cutting edge technologies
- Must have very hands on work experience on CORE JAVA concepts like multhreading, data structures, collections, OOPS,synchronization, Algorithm etc.
- Excellent team building, mentoring and coaching skills are a must-have
